On the company’s first anniversary, PT GMR held various social activities such as orphan compensation, mass circumcision, and cataract surgery. This moment is a reflection of the company’s values that not only focus on business growth, but also on how the company can directly contribute to the social welfare of the surrounding community.
PT Gayo Mineral Resources understands that sight is one of the most important gifts that greatly affects the quality of life. Therefore, as a form of corporate social responsibility in the health sector, we organize free cataract surgery activities for communities around our operational areas. This program was initiated to help those who are visually impaired but have financial limitations in accessing medical services. Through this program, we hope to make a real positive impact and help the community to be productive again in their daily activities.
As part of the humanitarian values that we uphold, PT GMR regularly pays special attention to orphans through social activities and donations. We believe that the existence of a company must bring benefits to the surrounding community, especially for those who need more attention.
